Katie founded Good Evans Kitchen with the intention of helping people grow in confidence in the kitchen, using seasonal, local produce, and believing that everyone can enjoy eating food that loves you back.
Intent on bridging the gaps found around food insecurity, Good Evans Kitchen offers an inclusive way to support mental and physical wellbeing through everyday cooking, and to build a long-lasting relationship with food that serves you and your lifestyle.
Sometimes having the information around nutrition is not enough. We need to build the skills and framework to put it into practice with confidence and joy, so your life can thrive.
An accredited nutritionist and mindful cook, Katie trained with Leiths in London and lives in Hampshire with her family. She runs a small, friendly mindful nutrition cookery school where people of all ages and abilities learn to create delicious, anti-inflammatory, gut-friendly and in-season dishes that support their health.
Having learnt first-hand how cooking and the process of creating can empower, benefit and sometimes heal us, Katie is supportive and encouraging as she teaches you how to feel your best.
The values behind every workshop.
Building a positive, personal relationship with food, one seasonal recipe at a time.
Relaxed, practical sessions where you learn by doing, and take the skills home.
All abilities and all ages are welcome, in small, inclusive groups.
I am building a cookery school, so more people can learn to cook seasonal food in a warm and welcoming space. I want to share the journey with you, and the thinking behind it, so you can see what Good Evans Kitchen is about and why it matters to me.
WOW! I was blown away by the knowledge and tools I was given during this workshop. I can’t wait to come again
My one to one online class was invaluable. I felt comfortable asking simple questions and enjoyed growing in my understanding of using certain in-season produce in different ways. The virtual class option was super convenient for me to learn from the comfort of my home
Recipes are easy to follow and Katie has a great way of growing your confidence in the kitchen, especially when using new ingredients
I attended a group nutrition workshop and wow I was blown away! Great, easy to follow, in-season recipes that can be recreated, and that get my children involved at home too. Delicious food you think would be tricky to cook, but made simple. Katie is patient and fun to cook with, she gives attention to detail and I have a renewed confidence. Thank you!
Join a workshop in Winchester and across Hampshire and enjoy food that does you good.
